- Bruce Stockwell |
B1
is originally a Queenslander from the Darling Downs. A science
graduate, he started his career as a teacher in Ingham, only
about an hour’s drive south of The Buoys Bed
and Breakfast Accommodation in Hull Heads.
He then worked as a computer programmer, analyst and auditor
in the public sector for many years. He lived in Brisbane
and for about 25 years in Sydney, mostly in the inner west. |

hails from Melbourne back in the 60s and spent a career in finance
becoming a credit controller for a multi national firm. He moved
to Sydney and spent about 15 years living mostly on the lower
north shore. |
| History
- ( the dream comes true ) |
| These
two guys became firm friends. They travelled overseas, staying
in B&B Accommodation
in various countries and then visited Tropical North Queensland
in 2000 looking to purchase a Bed and Breakfast Accommodation
home of their own. They loved the region, returned to Sydney,
sold up and moved to Hull Heads , near Tully and Innisfail in
far
North Queensland
with camping gear in a station wagon. After about three months
on the road, searching they purchased the Bed and Breakfast
property which is now known as The Buoys. |
